Missy's Story

ABOUT MISSY!

Meet Missy, our big and beautiful lady! This sassy girl came to HAP as a stray, so we don't know much about her past, aside from the fact that she had clearly been eating well! Because this new change of scenery was such a big change, she had a rough time settling in. Some days she still seems to have some serious complaints!

Missy is a strong, independent woman, through and through! She knows what she wants and knows how to get it, usually by yelling at us. She can be a little swatty at times, usually just when we're shooing her back in her cage. When we aren't trying to make her do something, she's a real sweetie! She enjoys hanging out with her human friends, sometimes at a distance, sometimes right on them!

*Missy is pretty hit or miss with other cats, but we think she'd probably be fine to coexist with one. We aren't sure how she'd do with dogs, but she's done okay with older children.

*If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
