Miss Kitty's Story

Name: Miss Kitty
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Age: 5 years old

History
Miss Kitty has spent the past 16 months at the shelter while being held for a court case. During that time, she lived as a playroom cat, where she had the opportunity to interact with visitors and spend plenty of time with staff. She quickly became known for being incredibly people-forward and affectionate. Now that her case is finally resolved, Miss Kitty is ready for the home she has been waiting for.

Personality
Miss Kitty is the kind of cat who wants to be loved, and she is more than happy to return the favor. The moment someone walks into the playroom, she jumps down from her cat tower to say hello, often making a beeline for a lap where she can make biscuits and soak up some attention. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate, and she doesn't mind being picked up.

She is also a curious and inquisitive girl who enjoys roaming around and investigating her surroundings. When she's not visiting with people, she likes playing with toys or sitting by the window watching the birds go by. And if you really want to win her over, gravy and tuna are excellent choices!

Behavior
Miss Kitty is litter trained and has been wonderful about being handled. She is good with children and would love a home where she can be part of the family and receive plenty of affection.

Miss Kitty would prefer to be the only cat in the home, as she is not a fan of kittens or other cats. She has lived with dogs in the past, so a dog may be a possibility with the proper introduction and meet-and-greet. Her ideal home is one where she can have her people all to herself and enjoy being the affectionate, spoiled girl she deserves to be.

Health
Miss Kitty is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. She is healthy and litter trained. She has a beautiful, soft, shiny coat and keeps herself wonderfully clean.
