Miss Bean's Story

Meet Miss Bean! This sweet little girl had a rough start—she was found on the street in south Brooklyn, sick, terrified, and emaciated. It took her a long time to learn to trust again and overcome her trauma, but she is now thriving and is ready to find her forever home! She’s a shy girl, so she needs someone who is willing to take the time to get to know her.

She loves a good butt scritch and will lift her bum up for you to pet and look up at you lovingly the whole time. She’ll never say no to a good head scritch either. She’s quiet and not demanding and loves other cats—she’d love a home with a feline friend!

Miss Bean is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and positive for FIV, which just means she needs to go stay indoors and go to the vet regularly, just like any other cat. It does mean that she will not be eligible for insurance.

FIV does not spread easily between cats; especially since Miss Bean had to have a full dental, the chance of her spreading it to another cat is effectively zero. She would love a cat friend!

If you’re interested in Miss Bean, fill out an adoption application at www.brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms and designate Jennie AnneS as the rescuer.

Thank you for your interest in a rescued kitty! All adoption fees and donations go directly to saving the next sweetie.
