Miso

Little Miso was trapped by himself when he was but a baby kitten during a TNVR effort by another rescue. He was brought to one of our vets to be tested and neutered if old enough (he turned out to be only 6 weeks old), but when he tested positive for FeLV they didn't have anywhere to be able to hold him until he could be retested (sometimes there's a false positive when still nursing because the kitten is showing mom's antibodies; so important to retest when the kitten has had time to be off of mom) our vet asked if he'd surrender him to us rather than put him down as he was so ridiculously friendly and utterly adorable. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>You can see more pictures and videos of our fosters on our facebook page: Sophia L'Orange Kitten Rescue<br/><br/>All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
