Mishi's Story

Meet Mishi, a 4-month-old male tabby with bright eyes and a curious, thoughtful expression. Mishi traveled to DC all the way from Puerto Rico. Despite the big journey for such a little kitty, he has done an amazing job adjusting to the mainland and settling into his foster home!

Below is a message from Mishi's foster that gives so much insight into his adorable personality

“Mishi is a total winner -- friend to humans and cats alike! He is so social and playful that I would fully expect him to get along with dogs and kids too. (Never ever have we had a foster cat that so quickly got along our cats -- it was practically a no drama introduction. Unheard of!)

Mishi is a gorgeous tabby with a beautiful striped tail, legs, and tummy. (He's missing a bit off one ear -- I believe it's the marker from Puerto Rico that he was neutered. It gives him an adorably rakish look.)

He's energetic and playful, zooming around and batting at ribbons and toys -- but his favorite pastime is playing with people and his foster cat sisters. He sweetly and playfully wrestles and paws, sometimes gently bopping us on the nose as part of his game. (He may have a little more energy than our maturing cats desire, but they take it in stride.)

He purrs quickly and easily when you pet him or give him your attention. And then likes to curl up next to you once he's tuckered out. Since he's so social, it would be great to see him in a house with kids or other pets!"

Mishi is healthy, neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and has received all age-appropriate vetting and vaccinations.

Mishi's Adoption Fee is $200
