Misha's Story
Hi… my name is Misha.

I’m a 7-year-old lynx-point Siamese girl, and if I’m being honest, I never expected to find myself looking for a new home at this stage in my life.

I had a person. I was loved since I was a kitten. I knew what it felt like to curl up beside someone who cared about me, to have a routine, a safe home, and someone to love every single day. But my owner became ill and had to move into a nursing home, and suddenly everything changed for both of us.

Even after losing the only home I’ve ever known, I still believe there’s another person out there for me.

There are so many wonderful cats waiting for homes right now — playful kittens, funny cats, shy cats, energetic cats — and they all deserve love. But if you’re looking for a calm, devoted companion who already understands what it means to truly bond with someone… I think I might be the girl you’ve been waiting for.

At 7 years old, I’m past the wild kitten stage. I’m not climbing your curtains at 2 a.m. or turning your house upside down. What I am looking for is something quieter and deeper: companionship.

I love being near my person. I’m affectionate, social, and gentle. I’m the kind of cat who will quietly keep you company while you read, watch TV, work on the computer, or simply rest after a long day. I don’t need constant excitement to be happy — I just want to feel safe, loved, and included again.

I also get along well with other friendly cats. Dogs are still a mystery to me, so I’m not sure how I feel about them yet.

One of the best things about adopting an adult cat like me is that what you see is what you get. My personality is already established. I know how to use the litterbox, I know how to be a companion, and I know how to love someone with my whole heart.

And honestly? Cats like me are often overlooked.

People see kittens first. But kittens grow up. What many people really want is the kind of steady, loyal companionship that older cats already know how to give.

The good news is that I still have many wonderful years of love ahead of me. I’m healthy, spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, litterbox trained, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. I’m ready to go home — I just need someone willing to give me a second chance.

I have known love my entire life. I miss it very much. But I still have so much love left to give.

Maybe you’re the person I’ve been waiting for.

Love,
Misha

Misha’s adoption fee is $200.

Adoption fees help support the medical care, food, vaccinations, spay/neuter services, and daily care of rescue animals waiting for homes. By adopting Misha, you’re not only changing her life — you’re helping Paw Pals continue saving others, too.

Apply to meet Misha:
https://hcpawpals.org/cat-adoption-form/

** Veterinary references and, in some cases, home checks are part of our adoption process. Paw Pals maintains a firm no-declaw policy, and all cats are placed in loving, indoor-only homes where they can stay safe, healthy, and happy.
