Misha's Story

Misha may just be the sweetest, softest, most beautiful girl you'll ever meet. She has stunning green eyes, the prettiest pink nose, whiskers for days and the most spectacular ear furnishings. Look closely and you'll spot little touches of orange throughout her fur, right down to one perfectly tortoiseshell toe.

This affectionate girl loves curling up on a lap and, when she's feeling particularly cuddly, may even crawl right up onto your shoulders. Misha also has plenty to say. When she wants something, she makes an announcement, and trust us, you won't miss it! She even prefers a little company while she eats, something we like to call "social eating."

Misha has had some experiences in her past that have left her feeling afraid in certain situations. She is looking for an adopter who understands cat body language, respects her boundaries and knows the importance of building trust through positive reinforcement rather than punishment. When Misha feels overwhelmed or triggered, she communicates with a hiss or growl and may need a little time and space to reset before returning to her sweet self.

We believe Misha may have experienced some bullying from another animal in a previous home, and seeing a fluffy creature can cause a strong reaction from her. For this reason, Misha is looking for a home where she can be the only pet and enjoy having her people all to herself.

Misha is quirky, affectionate, expressive and incredibly easy to fall in love with. Give her the patience and understanding she needs to feel safe, and you'll discover a wonderfully cuddly girl who truly steals hearts. Submit an application for Misha and we would love to chat with you further about whether you could be the home she's been waiting for.
