Minx's Story

Minx is a medium- to long-haired black cat. She has a bit of white on her chest and pretty green eyes. She is very friendly and loves to be picked up and cuddled. She also loves tummy rubs.
Minx has a foster-brother cat whom she loves to follow around, and she tries to entice him to play with her. She loves when her human plays with the feather on a stick so she can run, jump, and "attack" it. She loves little stuffy toys she can carry around in her mouth.
Minx also has a medium-size gentle dog as a foster-brother! She isn't bothered by him or his barking at all!
Minx would love to join a family with another kitty who can be a snuggle buddy and playmate for her.

Contra Costa Humane Society's Adoption Policy
CCHS has animals available for adoption through a number of different avenues. Many of our kittens and all dogs are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted. Teenage, adult, senior and special-needs cats reside at Kitty Corner, an on-site, private cat shelter where cats are allowed to free-roam at all times, lounge in sunny windows and on comfy cat towers, and play to their heart's galore. Similarly, we also have animals available for adoption through our Re-Homing Assistance Program, where we help to advertise animals that caregivers are no longer able to keep. If you are interested in meeting any of the animals listed on our website, please complete an adoption application unless otherwise noted! Our business office and Kitty Corner are located at 171 Mayhew Way, Suite 101 in Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. Kitty Corner houses adult, senior, and special-needs cats (sometimes teenage kittens). Kitty Corner is open for adoptions on Saturday, Sunday & Mo
