Minty's Story

We know what you’re thinking ... WAIT A MEOW-MENT... IS THAT A CAT?!

Everyone, meet MINTY!

This tiny girl’s story started when she was found all alone in a tree at just FIVE weeks old. Malnourished, dehydrated, and weighing next to nothing, Minty eventually landed in an overcrowded shelter, sick and needing a way out.

Thankfully, a friend of ours stepped up to help! And while rescuing kitties isn’t exactly our specialty, we agreed to help get this little lady healthy, vetted, and into the forever home she deserves.
At approximately 10 weeks old and a whopping TWO pounds, Minty is a petite little masterpiece. She’s a domestic shorthair with a gorgeous white coat, a tabby-striped tail, and one adorable little spot on her head.

Minty is Sweet, playful, and equipped with a purr motor that could rival a diesel truck! Funny enough, this little lady doesn’t actually meow! She’s more of a strong, silent type... with a VERY loud purr. She’s great with other kitties and while she can be shy of dogs to start, a slow intro with cat savvy dogs and she would do just fine in a home with dogs.

Minty can be a little shy at first, but give her some time to settle in and you’ll discover one sweet, playful little kitten. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. She’s healthy, happy, and ready to trade her rough beginning for a lifetime of love, toys, cozy naps, and someone to appreciate her magnificent purr.

We may not be in the kitty business, but we’re definitely in the second-chance business. And Minty deserves hers just as much as any dog. Help us find this tiny, silent superstar her forever family!

Apply to adopt at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BSD/Dog

And please SHARE! Our followers are mostly dog people, so we need your help getting Minty in front of the cat lovers!

Bruno's Foundation's Adoption Policy
We are a foster based facility, meaning all of our animals are in homes, not a shelter environment. This allows us to get to know them better, and provide on one training for each animal. In order to limit the amount of people going in and out of our foster homes, we do require a filled out application prior to a meet and greet. We are a 501c3 non profit. All adoption donations are tax deductible! Please click the link on this page to fill out an application for adoption. Allow 48 hours for a reply, we only have one person who reviews applications so please be patient. A phone call will be scheduled should your application fit the needs of the pet you’re applying for. During this time, we will set up a meet and greet, then a home check (virtual or in person). We DO allow out of state adoptions however you will be required to travel to pick up, and this will depend on how the pet you’re applying for does with travel. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed prior to adoption.
