Minerva was surrendered at a veterinary clinic in Clinton, SC by an owner who no longer wanted her and made it very clear he intended to harm her if they did not comply. That team refused. They stood up for her, convinced him to sign over his rights, and then reached out to us because they knew she deserved better, and they were absolutely right.<br/>What they handed over to us was a cat who had every reason to be broken and simply was not. Minerva is gentle, affectionate, and wonderful with other cats. She warms up beautifully to dogs with a proper introduction and has shown nothing but grace through all of it. She is done with the hard part. Now she is just waiting for the person who will give her the safe, loving home she should have had from the very beginning.
