Mimi the Inimitable's Story
Meet Mimi! This loving and resilient lady is looking for her forever home after being abandoned at the end of 2025. Could you and Mimi be a love match? Let us tell you more about her--and even introduce you to her in her foster home.

Our group helped Mimi get spayed and vetted as a favor to a Harlem resident back in 2016--Mimi was a young kitty then so we are guessing she is now about 10 or 11. Sadly she wound up outside not long ago--but no worse for the wear so we don't think she was roughing it on the streets for long. She quickly settled in and became affectionate and playful with her foster mom. Mimi got a clean bill of health in early 2026--bloodwork good, vaccines up-to-date, etc. In fact, the vet was amazed she's in such tip-top health for an older adult cat.

Mimi would do best in a calm home. She can easily get overstimulated--especially when getting the pets and love that she actually demands! A home with someone with cat experience and without young kids would be best. Mimi seems to care only about adult humans, although a home with another cat would probably be OK if the resident feline were chill.

We just adore Mimi's precious face and spunky attitude and would love for you to meet her too!
