Don't let her chill demeanor fool you, though — she still has a playful side and enjoys batting at toys and using her favorite scratcher. She has been dealing with itchiness that leads her to occasionally pull out patches of her fur. While she has seen a vet and undergone allergy testing, no clear cause has been identified. Allergy friendly / grain free food might help, but it may be stress-related, as she has shown that she does not do well with other cats. In her foster home, Mimi has been uncomfortable around them and has reacted by chasing and occasionally marking. Because of this, she will need to be the only cat in her new home.<br/><br/>She gets along great with dogs, so a cat-friendly canine companion is totally fine. <br/>Mimi would do well as an indoor-only cat but may also enjoy access to a safe, outdoor space where she can relax in the sunshine. She has been spayed and vaccinated. She is litter box trained. She may require special allergy friendly food.<br/><br/>We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.<br/><br/>When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?<br/><br/>All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them.
