Milo's Story
HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is available for adoption by appointment. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org.

---

- Arrived at the ARL very fearful, but has made amazing progress in his foster home; his foster family says it typically takes him a month or two to warm up to new people (he has adapted to new roommates slowly but well), and once he knows and likes someone he's genuinely comfortable with them

- Is a cuddly, loving lap cat once he feels safe, and also likes scampering after balls and laser toys, playing in tunnels and playing hide and seek

- Loves to look out windows and keep tabs on what's going on in the neighborhood

- Prefers a calm, quiet home

- Lived with another cat previously and did well with them

- Not the biggest fan of dogs and may be happiest in a dog-free home

This cat can be fearful and may need extra time to adjust to a new home. We've seen good progress here at the ARL, but don't be surprised if it takes several weeks for this cat to become comfortable in a new place. This cat may hide and just observe at first - maybe for quite a while - and that is perfectly normal. Young children are too much for this cat right now, so we are highly recommending a quiet, mature home. We are happy to provide post-adoption resources. If you can give this cat extra time, patience and TLC, please consider adopting! It will be so rewarding to watch them gain confidence and start enjoying all the good things in life!

All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age) Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 8.3lbs Age: 2yrs 11mths 0wks Animal has been Neutered
