Milo & Angela's Story

Milo and Angela were stray kittens in DC who were initially rescued by a young girl who showered them with love but didn't understand that they could reproduce and lacked the financial resources to provide for them long term. She subsequently surrendered Milo and Angela to CKR because Angela gave birth to a high-needs kitten and she wished for the little family to find a wonderful forever home.

Due to space limitations, Milo was briefly housed separately from Angela and the kitten. However, Milo cried inconsolably for the duration of their separation and only calmed down when they were reunited a few weeks later. For this reason, we know that they are a bonded pair.

Sadly, we discovered that Angela and Milo's kitten suffered from a congenital malformation of the gut which could not be repaired, despite our willingness to do whatever it took to save him. Little Loki passed away in his sleep between vet visits, with Angela right by his side. She quit eating and cried non-stop. Thankfully, being reunited with Milo enabled her to stop grieving.

Angela is an extremely affectionate, curious and easy-going kitty with a trusting nature who warms up to new people fast. She has a thick, glossy black tuxedo coat and a delicate face with big, expressive green eyes and long, elegant white whiskers. Angela loves to sit next to her people to snuggle and cuddle with Milo.

Milo is also a very affectionate cat who greets people warmly and likes to put his arms around your neck for a good hug. Milo is normally a very calm and laid-back cat... he only makes a lot of noise when looking for Angela! His favorite game is to give her a lick and then settle down for a mutual grooming session.

Milo and Angela are about 10 months old, spayed/neutered, up to date on distemper and rabies vaccinations, and negative for FeLV and FIV. Both kitties get along fine with dogs and other cats. Because of their sociable, easy-going nature they would be terrific "first cats" for someone in need of unconditional love and feline snuggles. If you have room in your heart and home for this very special, charming, sweet pair please call or text us at 310-788-1574 or email us directly at comkitties1@gmail.com.
