Meet Milo/adoption pending
Here we are in the coldest days of winter. Wouldn't you love to have a long, warm coat like Milo to keep you warm? He is stunning with his brown coat with black stripes, yellow eyes and big fluffy tail. He is a newbie at the shelter and he is still settling in with the changes in his life. His young family moved to a no pet apartment on short notice and he was passed around. We understand his need to have this time to chill out and he won't be shown until he is ready but we are happy to receive applications.
Milo is almost 3 years old and has been a single indoor cat. He lived with three young children but right now we don't see him being a good cat for children unless he feels more outgoing later this week. He has three old breaks in his tail which could speak to being mishandled. Right now we think he needs to be the only cat in a quiet home where he can continue to chill out until his heart heals from being given up. He does enjoy being brushed and combed and will need regular grooming due to his long coat.
To apply for a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application from this page:

If a cat is listed on our website, that means that cat is still available for adoption. The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers so adoption meetings take place by appointment. Our adoption fee for adult cats is $125 if 5 years old or younger and $75 for cats 6 years and up. The adoption fee includes the first set of vaccines, dewormer, microchip, testing for FeLV and spaying/neutering.
