237 days & counting!<br/><br/>Shelter guys on the shy side deserve a chance, too. Just ask Mr. Milo, who was rescued by CAWL in January 2026 and resides in purrfect harmony with four other cats in a room we’ve affectionately dubbed the frat room. <br/><br/>Milo is an approximately two year old black and white domestic short hair who loves coming up to us for pets and morning breakfast crunchies. He’s less certain of strangers, but he continues to make positive progress coming out of his shell. <br/><br/>Milo gets along very well with both the male and female cats who come and go in his room. His favorite spot is almost always within a cat tunnel toy (or else napping on the windowsill in the sunshine).<br/><br/>Why we love Milo:<br/>• He’s a chunk-a-chunk-a burnin’ love, with black fur under his chin that looks like a little goatee. <br/>• His beautiful bright green eyes look especially cute when sleepy and squinty.<br/>• We’ve seen this boy bravely overcome initial extreme shyness; he now seeks human company when we enter the room.<br/>• We can’t pick him up yet, but that’s okay – we happily settle for leg rubs and head bumps from this sweet guy.<br/>• His ear was tipped upon neutering, which adds to his character.<br/>• He’s low maintenance, quiet, gentle, and friendly.<br/><br/>Earlier this summer, Milo's best head bump buddy was adopted, and Milo inspected every corner of the room, meowing and searching for his friend. This boy bonds strongly and demonstrates great loyalty. His forever match is out there.
