MILO's Story

Hi there. I’m Milo, and I’m looking for my new favorite person. I’m a 4-year-old neutered male with a dapper black Mackerel Tabby coat. You might notice something a little unique about my face—I have an overbite that gives me a permanent, goofy smirk. It’s just part of my charm! My Story For a long time, I was an only pet who was truly loved and cherished. Through no fault of my own, I was surrendered, and I’ll be honest: it broke my heart. I went to a foster home to heal, and while I was there, I learned something wonderful—I can fall in love again. Now, I’m ready to give all that love to you. Life with Me I’m a chill, curious, and sweet guy. I’m not exactly a high-energy athlete, but I do have my moments! I’ll never turn down: • A laser pointer chase. • A toy mouse to bat around the hallway. • A tunnel to run through • A sturdy hemp rope scratch post (the only kind I'll use, thank you very much). I’m looking for a quiet home where I can loaf on the back of the sofa and catch up on our favorite shows together. I’m also a very good boy about my litter box, though I have refined tastes: I require Tidy Cat non-clumping litter in an open-top box. The Milo Standards I love meeting new people and I make friends fast, but I’m not so sure about other animals. I’d really prefer to be your one and only pet baby. I also love a good routine and a 12 hour feeding schedule that serves up the good stuff. That’s right, I am a wet food connoisseur. Purina One or Pro is my acquired taste (the duck flavor is the best) but as long as it’s canned food....bon appetite! Here is what else you should know about my supervision style: • The Personal Assistant: I don't like to be left out of anything. I need to be where you are at all times. Privacy? I don't know her. • The Quality Inspector: I will observe everything you do. I especially like to help you make the bed. I’ll double-check your work, judge you accordingly, and then promptly mess it up by crawling under the blankets. • Grounds Keeper: I serve as a garden or yard sentry. You will often find me keeping an eye on the birds and beasts outside the window. Don’t distract me or waste your money with cozy window seats or cat trees. I will perch on the skinny window sill while I am on duty. I take my job seriously; naps are for down time. • The Hold-Me-Baby: I’m not much of a lap cat, but I have a secret—I love to be picked up and held just like a human baby. I’m just a silly, sweet, gentle boy looking for a soft place to land. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow with a goofy grin, I think we might be a perfect match. Will you be my forever?
