Millie's Story

Millie is a very social cat who loves to be with humans. She is a lap cat who loves to snuggle and to be held. She gives hugs and kisses. She will kiss (lick) your face and hands. She is not good with other cats. She is also a talkative girl. She talks when she wants attention, and when she is asking for dinner

Millie is great company for someone who is home a lot and is looking for a loving, cuddly companion.

Millie has an unusual Calabie coat, with a mixture of brown and orange tabby, plus white chest, cheeks, and feet. She is very pretty. She even has orange spots on white on her underside. Millie is good with kids. Her previous owner had children. When she went into labor, she got into bed with their son. She is not good with cats, and dogs are unknown, but we think it is unlikely to work well.

She is around 4-5 years old, we estimate. She is spayed, vaccinated, and Microchipped. She tested positive for FIV+, and while not ideal, FIV+ cats often live long and happy lives. If you think Millie might be just the girl for you, you can talk to your vet or review Cornell University's Cornell Feline Health Center's article on the topic: https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv

______
Apply to adopt this cat and learn more about The Feline Connection on our website: http://www.thefelineconnection.org/

---ABOUT THE FELINE CONNECTION---

The Feline Connection is a foster-driven 501(c)(3) cat rescue in Rutland, Vermont.
