Meet Millie! Millie is the sweetest, friendliest, prettiest torti girl you could ever hope to meet! <br/><br/>Her rescue story is a heartbreaker... someone zipped her up in a cloth carrier and sat her on the side of the road with a bag of food next to her. And even worse, it was in the middle of a rainstorm. No one knows how long she was sitting there, in the rain, terrified, and all alone. Thankfully one of our volunteers just happened to drive by and see the carrier just sitting there, and decided to pull over and investigate. Poor Millie was soaking wet, but couldn't be happier that she was being rescued! <br/><br/>Mille has been to the vet, and is generally a healthy girl, estimated to be about 2 years old. She does have an intermittent cough, so the vet suspects mild asthma that requires a daily steroid until it is more under control. <br/><br/>Millie is now in foster care, but is ready for her forever home. Since we know nothing of her history, we don't know if she gets along with other cats, dogs, or kids. She is very friendly though, so slow introductions to other animals with an experienced cat person would probably go well. <br/><br/>Millie is spayed, triple tested negative, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas.
