Millie's Story

Meet Millie — Resident Diva & Supervisor of All Things Important

So… we need to talk about Millie, your resident overlord, benevolent ruler, and current supervisor at the Pawsitivitea Cat Café.

Millie came to us as a semi-feral kitten, about five months old, after growing up outdoors. Even then, she had opinions. Over time, she’s adjusted well to indoor life and now reigns supreme as a confident, independent young lady who knows exactly what she wants out of her people, her environment, and her daily routine.

She’s been with us for a while — one of our long-time residents — and while she takes her duties as Café Supervisor very seriously, she’s finally ready to abdicate her throne to the next cat in line if it means finding her perfect forever home.

Millie is incredibly smart, observant, and full of personality. She watches everything that happens in her space, keeps her area tidy, and has impeccable supervisory instincts. She loves a good routine, enjoys playtime on her terms, and will occasionally grace you with her affection — provided you understand that physical contact is a privilege, not a right.

With her striking brown and white tiger coat and her signature “supervisor stare,” Millie always looks like she’s one step ahead of you — and she usually is. Her expressive face and confident posture make her a total standout. She’s as beautiful as she is opinionated, and she absolutely knows it.

She’s come a long way in her foster and café life, learning to appreciate humans for their snacks, toys, and good conversation (from a respectful distance). Millie can still be sassy if pushed too far, but her foster family insists her dramatic flair is part of her charm. She’s the kind of cat who will make you laugh every single day.

Millie would thrive in a quiet household or small business environment with adults or older teens who understand cats with strong personalities. She’s fine as the only cat or could share space with one calm, well-mannered feline roommate.

She loves to play, adores her snacks, and will happily watch the world from a sunny window. Think of her as your live-in quality-control manager — ensuring your life stays properly entertaining and slightly chaotic, but never boring.

Quick Facts:
Age: 1½ years
Sex: Female
Spayed: Yes
Vaccinations: Up to date
FeLV & FIV: Negative
Microchipped: Yes
Health: Healthy
Good with: Calm, respectful cats; possibly older teens or adults

If you’re looking for a cat with a big personality and even bigger presence — one who’ll run your household, your office, or your café with flair — Millie might just be your perfect match.

Apply today at www.oswegocountyspca.org and help her go From Foster to Forever.

Important Adoption Information:
When you fill out an application, please make sure you have notified your veterinarian that we will be calling and that it is okay to speak with us. If you don’t currently have a vet, please determine which one you will be using and set up care so we can confirm your new pet will receive medical attention when needed.

We are 100% foster-based and 100% volunteer-operated, from the top down. Our team works hard to get animals into their forever homes as quickly as possible. Please be patient with us, but if you don’t hear back within a few days, feel free to message us on our Facebook page to confirm your application went through.
