Millie's Story

Millie is one of 4 cats we took in. They had been living in a car since August, with occasional motel stays. The owner fell on hard times and had been trying to place them since June. We were the only rescue that stepped up to help them. Bless her for rescuing her babies and for not abandoning these cats despite the enormous burden she was carrying!! Millie is a lap cat, loving and sweet. Millie needs a forever home. She will do best on her own, without any other cats or animals. Duette Animal Rescue Team, Inc's Adoption Policy

Adopters MUST fill out an application and questionnaire at www.duetteanimalrescue.org. All cats must be kept indoors and we do require a house visit to ensure that statements on paper match the environment that the cat will be in. Filling out an application does not guarantee the person can adopt the animal. If a person is renting their residence, we must have proof of pet deposit and authorization by landlords to have pets on the premises.
