Miley Moo's Story

This beautiful 3-year-old Siamese female is looking for a calm, loving home where she can truly relax and be herself. She was surrendered by her previous owner after two years because she wasn't getting along with another cat in the household. Because of this, she may do best as the only pet or in a home that can give her plenty of space and patience.
She is a quiet and shy girl at first and may take a little time to warm up to new people and environments. Once she feels safe, her personality begins to shine--she becomes playful, curious, and affectionate in her own gentle way. She enjoys toys and calm interaction with her humans, especially in a peaceful environment where she can build trust at her own pace.
This sweet cat would thrive in a patient home with someone who understands that shy cats sometimes need a little extra time and love to blossom. With kindness and consistency, she has all the potential to become a loyal and loving companion.
If you're looking for a soft-spoken friend with a playful side, this lovely Siamese might be the perfect match.

D'Arcy's Animal Rescue Centre's Adoption Policy
Connecting the right pets with the right families If you come to D'Arcy's A.R.C. to adopt a pet, you will be asked many questions to ensure that the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home and that you are prepared for the responsibilities and commitment of pet ownership. This discussion can go several ways. We may agree that the pet you are considering is an excellent match for your lifestyle, and lucky to have met you. We may suggest that you select a pet more suited to the home environment you will provide, or we may determine that you cannot take on the responsibilities and commitment of pet ownership at this time. Suppose you want to adopt a special needs pet with a physical condition or behavioural issues requiring extra care. In that case, we will ask that you fill out an application form. Our shelter manager will review this application form to ensure that you are aware of the cat's needs and the potential costs involved and can provide a suitable home. Potential adopters must provide a valid photo I.D. If you are leasing or renting a property for which the pet will call home, a copy of your leasing agreement that outlines that your home is pet-friendly is required. A letter or email signed by the landlord is also acceptable. All of our pets are spayed & neutered. Any kittens or puppies too young for the procedure at the time of adoption will have their spay/neuter paid for at our expense at our chosen veterinary clinic when they reach six months of age. Our cats all receive FVRCP vaccines, while all dogs receive DA2PP and Rabies. The adopter is responsible and must pay for any other medical treatments required after the adoption process. All adopted pets come with a care package, trial pet insurance, and a valid City of Winnipeg pet license for one year.
