Mila & Lucy (Bonded Pair)'s Story

MILA

Mila is a young, petite tortie girl. She is a tiny ball of sweetness and spunk! Mila can be initially cautious in new situations, but her curiosity will lead her to quickly explore new people, spaces, and toys. Mila comes running when her foster dad pulls out wand toys! She is also very fond of ball-on-track toys and cardboard scratchers.

Mila is very social and engaged with her foster siblings. She enjoys playing, chasing, and cuddling with other kitties--play hard, nap hard! Mila particularly loves to be curled up with her foster sister, Lucy, on a soft blanket or in a fluffy bed. She also likes exploring and climbing on window ledges and cat furniture.

Mila has a great appetite and currently grazes both wet and dry food in her foster home. She tolerates nail trims and has perfect litter box manners. Mila enjoys treats and will come running at the sound of a treat bag being shaken!

Mila is a great communicator--she has the sweetest little chirp and makes adorable faces with her tongue hanging out. When Mila is feeling safe and secure, she loves pets (especially butt scratches!). She will rub on her foster mom's leg to request attention. No doubt that Mila will continue to blossom into a more outgoing, snuggly girl when given time to settle into her forever home!

Mila has bonded with another young, female cat in her foster home named Lucy. Mila and Lucy will need to be adopted together into their forever home.

If you’re interested in adopting Mila & Lucy, please fill out our pre-adoption application here: https://www.pause4pawsmn.org/adopt-a-pet

LUCY

Lucy is a strikingly beautiful (most likely lynx point siamese calico), young female cat. She has piercing ocean blue eyes and unique coat coloring. Her fur is short, but very soft. Lucy loves to show off her beauty by following her foster mom around the house and rubbing against legs to request pets. Like her sister, Mila, Lucy is also quite fond of butt scratches!

Lucy is slender and slinky with long legs, creating the most adorable strut when Lucy is prowling around her kingdom (foster home). She is very curious and enjoys exploring new places and spaces in her foster home. Lucy is athletic and agile, allowing her to jump onto window sills or to perch atop the cat tree. Lucy enjoys playing and wrestling with other cats but will also chase toy mice and pompom balls independently.

Lucy enjoys a soft bed to curl up in and nap while cuddling with her foster siblings. She is still learning to appreciate brushing and is not yet interested in being picked up or held. However, Lucy is gaining confidence in her foster home daily (especially when treats are involved!).

Lucy will likely be timid initially with her forever family, but no doubt that her sweet face and her drive for attention will win over anyone! Lucy's foster parents have fallen in love with how deeply they can see Lucy working to trust humans. She will blossom in a loving, patient home where she feels safe and secure!

Lucy has bonded with another young, female cat in her foster home named Mila.
