Although they are hairless they do require grooming to ensure their skin does not become too oily or too dry, and they can be prone to ear infections. Hairless cats are not hypoallergenic, even with the lack of hair some people can still be allergic. <br/><br/> It is important to protect Sphynx cats from the sun and cold weather due to their lack of hair as protection.
