They were grieving, scared, and simply weren't sure what was happening to them.<br/><br/>But we're finally seeing little glimpses of the boys underneath all that sadness. They're beginning to come out from under their blankets, explore their surroundings, and show us that they're ready to start moving forward.<br/><br/>Mikey and Minou are approximately 6 years old and are definitely two BIG boys! In fact, Mikey holds the shelter record at a whopping 26 pounds! Their weight isn't just a funny fact — it's something their future family will need to take seriously. They're currently on a weight-control diet, but they'll also need a family committed to helping them become healthier through regular play and exercise.<br/><br/>These boys don't need a perfect home. They need a patient home that understands they've experienced a huge loss and will give them the time they need to feel safe again.
