MIKEY & LEO 1778A- Offered by Owner - Bonded Boys's Story

Meet Mikey and Leo (~3 yrs old). These two goofy orange brothers are the most social and cuddle-obsessed cats we have ever met. Their ideal day would be spent on the laps of their humans with some occasional breaks for wrestling and treats. They get along well with friendly dogs, and Mikey can often be found cuddled up with our pit bull on the couch. Mikey and Leo are a bonded pair and should not be separated. They’re good at looking out for each other, although Mikey will occasionally try to boss his brother around and steal some of his food!

Specific notes:
Both boys have been receiving regular vet visits and have no known health complications
Mikey has a hard time with car rides (medication to help with anxiety is a good idea if going in the car)
I rescued these sweethearts two years ago from a vacant rental house backyard near Washington Square. I believe they had been abandoned. They were quite young at the time. My niece and her fiancé adopted them but now cannot keep them because of an allergy issue. I would take them back, but I have since then adopted another cat who needs to be alone in my house.

P.S. The boys most recently (last three months) went home with a family friend so I could recover from a surgery. Mikey started escaping from his catio and now is expressing his frustration by marking in the area of the catio’s opening because he has been banned from the catio till it is more secure.

Mikey and Leo live with their owner in Portland, They are bonded and their rehoming fee is $100. Healthy, active, friendly and indoor only. Secure catio is a plus.

This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.

Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.
