She came into rescue as a pregnant, unclaimed stray.<br/><br/>Her babies are now weaned and finding their own forever homes so now it's time for her to find her forever home. She is currently in a home with lots of kittens and cats.<br/><br/>You will never wonder where she is as she is a talker - especially if she's carrying around her prize stuffed mouse!<br/><br/>Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies), flea/tick preventatives, FIV/FeLV test, dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).<br/><br/>As part of our adoption process, we will check the vetting history of any past or current pets looking for regular history of annual exams and up to date vaccines and other care as recommended by the doctors. We will also check property ownership or verify landlord guidelines for a rental and complete a public records check for anyone over age 18 in the home. <br/><br/>Resident cats must show a history of a negative FeLV (feline leukemia test) on file while maintaining an indoor only status. <br/><br/>Adoption fee: $230 + tax <br/><br/>Email to contact: adopt@newleashrescue.org <br/><br/>Our volunteers do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.<br/><br/>Sometimes there is more that comes out about an animals personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
