Midnight's Story
Hi there! My name is Midnight and I'm a 6 year old Female Domestic Shorthair currently living at the Santa Barbara Campus, eager for a new home!

I'm a 6-year-old black cat with a lot to say! If you're looking for a quiet kitty, I might not be your girl-I love chatting with my people and being part of the action. I'm energetic, playful, and always ready for some fun, but I'm also a big fan of cuddling up with the people I love. I've lived indoors my whole life and have excellent litterbox manners. I previously lived with a cat sibling, and we got along well so I would be happy to have a feline friend if you've got an extra cat at home. I've also lived with large dogs before. We mostly coexisted peacefully, and while I don't really enjoy playing with dogs, I can tolerate them as long as they respect my space. If they get too excited, I'll simply find a quieter spot to relax. When I meet new people, I can be a little shy at first and may hide until I feel comfortable. Once I warm up, though, I'm friendly, social, and happy to show off my sweet personality. My favorite activities include playing, sunbathing from the comfort of my cat tree, and snuggling with my humans at bedtime. I'm looking for a loving home where I can get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. If you're searching for a playful, cuddly companion who will happily chat with you throughout the day, I think we'd make a purr-fect match!

Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.

Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission. Hope to see you soon!
