MICHIRU's Story
Hi! My name is Michiru and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by a good samaritan on June 4, 2026. I went to a foster home because I was being overlooked while at RASKC. This is what my foster says about me, Michiru is so awesome! She's got a precious little personality to match her cute little face with puffy brown paws and a sweet purr. She loves playing with wand toys and she loves watching videos for cats on YouTube especially the ones with yarn! When I have the phone or tablet in my hands she'll push her way to the screen expecting to see her YouTube videos. It's so funny! She rubs up purring to be petted but is still on guard with humans. She only likes wet food. She won't eat dry. She gets nervous when eating. When I put cat food in the bowl she gets skittish- and as much as she wants to eat she will not approach her bowl until I walk away- then she'll start eating but if she hears a footstep or any other sounds while she's eating she will run and hide until it's quiet again. I am a sweet girl, but can be quite shy at first. Because of that fact I would do best in a calm, quiet home without younger children (fast movements and loud noises startle me). When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home. I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!
