Michi: gorgeous mostly white, playful calico with fun energy and warming up to new opportunities and humans.<br/><br/>Michi's story: So, this whole ICE thing put a damper on my living situation. I was living in a 1 bedroom apartment with 10 people including my human, her mom, her two kids, and we were basically in 1 room. But, it is not as gross as it sounds. They were all clean people and proud, and my daughter, Princess, and I were well cared for. Then one day my hard mom was taken into custody at work, and deported. Suddenly, we were in an abandoned apartment with no one.<br/><br/>A family friend called Fitchburg Friends of Felines to help get me somewhere safe and to find me a new forever home!<br/><br/>That somewhere safe started as a big apartment with tall ceilings, and huge spaces, which was a bit overwhelming, and my daughter, Princess, and I hated it. One of us started inappropriately urinating, so we got the boot.<br/><br/>Okay, I cannot complain. Now I am in this cozy, also huge, beautiful home with a couple other kitties. But the rooms are smaller, not ginormous and overwhelming, and the home is, well, homey and nice! Needless to say, Princess and I made ourselves right at home!<br/><br/>I mean, we are tolerating the other cats... but I prefer not.<br/><br/>Now, about the kid, Princess.... we are not bonded. We coexist. So I don't need to be adopted with her. She is an adult and should spread her wings. I am happy to be an empty nester. It is long overdue. Or make friends with other kitties... maybe.... I am not a big fan of other kitties... just throwing out options...<br/><br/>I'm not a huge cuddle bug, but I'm starting to like attention. I am a player; do really love my mouse toys and cat tunnel. I'm also very talkative! I'm still a bit on the skittish side, considering I went from a small space with many humans and a couple kids to a big space with few humans... which is great, but I am still adjusting.<br/><br/>I love scratches and pets, but my favorite spot is curled up in my fluffy pillow bed! SOOO comfy!<br/><br/>My ideal home would be with a patient human to give me time to get used to a new space. Luckily, I am gorgeous, so you can admire me from afar until I am ready for the big plunge of attention!
