Mia's Story

Mia is a one-year-old domestic shorthair that Milwaukee Pets Alive rescued from Milwaukee animal control (MADACC).

This sweet girl has lots of personality packed into her petite, 7-pound frame! She's very loving and is generous with kisses and grooming for her foster mom. She'll happily chirp away at the promise of wet cat food, and she loves moving water! Mia's foster mom says she'll try to drink from the faucet when it's off and will play with the water when it's coming out of the faucet very lightly.

Mia is quite happy being on her own but enjoys the company of her humans. She'll chirp and greet her foster mom at the door when she gets home, and carries "conversations," responding with purrs and chirps when she's spoken to. Possibly Mia's cutest trait is that she carries her toys around in her mouth like a little doggy!

Mia plays well on her own, with her humans and with other cats. She also gets along well with gentle, cat-friendly dogs. This girl has lots of love to give and is patiently waiting for her forever home -- could it be yours?

Mia's adoption fee is $60 and, like all Milwaukee Pets Alive adoptables, she is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated.
