Abandoned on the streets of Piedmont, MO, as so many of our pets have been, Meyer was a surprise to us! He had been well loved before becoming homeless, as proven by the fact that we discovered he had already been neutered. He was also healthy and appeared to have been properly cared for. While we don’t know what tragedy made our dear boy homeless, we do know that he was quickly adopted and had a beautiful life for a short time, until unforeseen circumstances forced his new cat mom to relinquish him back to PPP. Since his return, he has bounced back to his smart, friendly self. He has made friends with the other cats at PPP and is both playful and loving. He loves to try to liberate the ball in the scratching ring, hang out on the deck of the catio house, and supervise the cleaning of his domain (including testing out the clean litter pans as soon as his servant is finished cleaning).
