Meteora's Story

Meteora showed up in the backyard of one of our Foster Parents, knowing that it was a safe haven for wayward cats. She was previously TNRd (she has an eartip), but we didn't know much else about her.

Meteora is ridiculously sweet. She is chatty when she gets excited (or hungry!), and she is happy just being near you. Because of her polite and gentle demeanor, we waited a long time to place her for adoption. We spent over two months trying to track down her owner. We thought for sure she got out when someone left the door open, and a girl like her was surely being missed, right?

Unfortunately, no one was looking for her.

But that just means she found herself in the right place at the right time!

Meteora can be coerced into playing, but she would much prefer to relax in the sun, hangout on the arm of the couch, or check in to see whatever you are doing.

She is an excellent companion. She gets along with friendly cats and well-mannered children. She even likes our noisy dogs! As much as we can't wait for her to find her Forever, a big part of us is already sad to know she will eventually be moving on.
