Since being in the care of Paws and Claws, Mermaid has learned about the luxuries of a plush cat bed, a bowl full of dry food (her favorite!), and napping in a human's lap. She's realized that she loves cosleeping with people, where you can both protect one another. Mermaid has found new favorite toys: lumps under the rug, carpet ghosts, and heavy rubber bands. She's become a lapcat, according to her foster, and loves sunbathing, window snoozing, and begging for extra meals. Mermaid won't be everyone's perfect cat -- but she doesn't have to be.
