Meet Merle, a handsome, truly handsome brown and gold tabby fella with bright green eyes. Merle was found as a stray in a neighborhood. A concerned resident fed him for a month and tried to locate an owner but with no luck. Rather than continuing to live life on a porch, he was trapped and made ready for adoption through Second Chance. Within a few weeks of being at Second Chance, Merle was adopted. However, his adopter didn't realize the time commitment a pet brings, especially Merle who wants to be near people and craves their affection and attention. Sadly he was returned now hoping to find an adopter able to give him the love and companionship he needs.<br/><br/>Merle is very friendly and loves to be near his person or on their lap. Merle is starting to learn how to play and very much enjoys Churus. He does well with other friendly, non-aggressive kitties so could be part of a multi-cat home. <br/><br/>Merle would be wonderful for any type of adopter; single, couple or a family. They just have to be ready to be loved! We think our Merle is a pearl and will make some lucky adopter very happy.<br/><br/>Merle has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Merle has an approximate birthdate of 06-06-2023.
