Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue<br/>Meow I’m Meo! I’m a big, handsome tabby with an even bigger personality. The kind of cat you notice right away - the one who walks into a room like he owns it...because, well, I think I should! I used to have a home. But one day, my people chose to move on without me. And I don’t really understand why. Now I’m here...and I’ve been here for a long time. I watch other cats leave with their new families. One by one, and I keep wondering when it will be my turn. I try to be brave about it. I really do! I’m a confident guy, a little goofy and I love attention. Give me pets and I’ll reward you with my version of affection - little love bites, kisses, and head bumps...I just get so happy I don’t always know what to do with it. I make biscuits like a pro, and I have this favorite blanket I like to suck on (yeah, I know...a little quirky, but it makes me feel safe). I love soft beds, cozy blankets, and most of all...I love have someone to be close to. But I’ll be honest with you - I feel things big. Sometimes I get overstimulated, and I just need a moment. Someone who understands me, who can read me, give me space when I need it, and then welcome me back when I am ready - that’s the kind of person I’m hoping for! The rescue can be really hard for me. When it’s busy and loud, with lots of people coming and going. I get overwhelmed. It’s not that I don’t crave attention...it’s just a lot for a guy like me. I need a home where I can be king of my castle - no other cats, no dogs. Older, respectful kids would be okay. Mostly I just want someone who will finally choose me...and mean it! Because if you do, I’ll give you everything I have. All my love, all my personality, all my goofy little habits...I’ll be yours! I’ve been waiting a long time. Maybe...I’ve been waiting for you!<br/><br/>Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!<br/><br/>Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted.<br/><br/>Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet.<br/><br/>Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.<br/><br/>No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.<br/><br/>We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.
