Mellie Poo's Story

Meet Mellie! This sweet talkative girl came to us after her owner sadly passed away. She can seem a bit shy at first but she is a total sweetheart who loves affection. She would be a perfect fit for someone looking for a companion to relax on the couch with. We are unsure of her experience with other animals but she may do ok with other cats after a proper introduction.

Conway Area Humane Society's Adoption Policy

We require that all adopters come to our shelter to meet with the animals they are interested in. There is an application that can be filled out on our website ahead of time or in person at our shelter. We conduct a short interview and we require Land lord approval and preform a vet check. If you currently own any dogs they will need to come to the shelter as well to meet one of our available dogs before being sent home.
