Meezie's Story

Meet Meezie, a stunning lynx point Siamese beauty with the sweetest pair of crossed blue eyes you’ll ever see. She’s an adult girl with a soft, unique look and a heart that’s ready—truly ready—for her forever person.

Meezie is FIV positive. What she does want to share is her quiet affection, her gentle presence, and her trust with someone who understands that good things take time.

She was surrendered through no fault of her own and has been patiently waiting for someone who sees her for who she really is: a lovely, sensitive soul who needs a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and adored. Once she feels secure, her sweet nature shines, and she’ll reward your patience with companionship that feels incredibly special.

If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind cat who will blossom with kindness and consistency, Meezie is ready to meet the person who’ll give her the soft landing she deserves.

Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
