Meep Meep (Meep)'s Story

Meep originally came to FieldHaven in 2023 from Stanislaus County when she was a teenager. We think she tangled with a car engine because her tail was missing and part of her ear. She was terribly frightened when she first came but she did well in foster, slowly finding her inner social kitty. She was adopted to a wonderful woman who loved her. Meep had the perfect life with a big house, a catio and four feline siblings. But then tragedy struck when her mom passed away suddenly. Family members took the other kitties into their homes but we decided Meep should come back to FieldHaven with us. It's been a couple of months but Meep's purr and shy head-butting is slowly coming back. We won't Iie. Meep is going to take a patient, determined person to crack through to gain Meep's trust. Meep's person needs to be patient and consistent with her. Meep may be a bit of a project but she is soooo worth it!click here
