Meela

Meela is a striking long-haired black and white cat with looks fit for royalty. With an estimated date of birth of 4/4/2025, this pretty girl is the definition of a queen that is ready to rule her next kingdom.

Meela is the kind of cat that knows she's pretty, and acts like it. While she enjoys her people and likes affection from them, she's the kind of cat that prefers to do her own thing and she will let you know when the queen is ready to accept pets from you. She's not much of a lap cat - she's got way too much going on for that! Being held? Only if there's time (and there usually isn't). She's got a kingdom to rule and she is clear about that.

We would call Meela a tree dweller kind of cat. She absolutely loves cat trees. She likes to be up high, surveying her kingdom on a daily basis. She is playful and will definitely get good romp sessions in before settling back in her perch for a good nap. She seems particularly fascinated with water and loves watching her baby humans when its bath time. Maybe it's the bubbles? Maybe it's the splashing? We're not quite sure - but we do know it's adorable.

Meela is looking for a home that can appreciate her for the diva she's growing up to be. She is currently living with another cat but it seems like Meela is not really loving that relationship so she may be best in a home without other cats. She has met dogs before and prefers they leave as well. Like we said - it's Meela's kingdom and we're just living in it!

If you think you've got the perfect throne for this little lady to sit a top, apply to adopt today: sayvanimals.org/adopt

(PLEASE NOTE: Despite what PetFinder, AdoptAPet and other aggregation software systems state - the first step is to submit an application via the link above, NOT send a message through their platforms. Thank you!)
