Meatball's Story
1-year-old Meatball is so much fun. Meatball is very affectionate and purrs as soon as you touch him, loves to play with the water in the sink, and is always up for a game of fetch. If you've been looking for a cat to follow you everywhere, Meatball is definitely a candidate. He has a lot of energy and is very busy. He seems to love other cats so we think he definitely needs another young cat to play with.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application at https://www.medfieldshelter.com/adoption-forms/cat.

If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting.

If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
