Meadow's Story

### Meadow

**Breed:** Domestic Short Hair
**Age:** 1 Year Old
**Gender:** Female
**Weight:** 9.7 Pounds
**Size:** Medium
**Special Considerations:** One-eyed, ongoing dental care

Meet **Meadow**, a confident, chatty girl with a big personality and plenty to say!

Rescued from California, Meadow has settled in beautifully at ECPR and is showing us that she's a friendly, easygoing cat who loves being around her people. She's the type of companion who will happily follow you from room to room, keeping up a steady conversation along the way. And when we say chatty, we mean it! Meadow isn't afraid to make sure you know when she wants your attention.

She's a pretty chill and confident girl who should be able to adapt well to a variety of homes. She enjoys spending time with her people, being held, and soaking up attention. She'll also need regular playtime and would love interactive toys, a cozy window where she can watch the birds and neighborhood activity, and a good scratching post.

Meadow has lived around other cats and may hiss when she's unsure, but with slow and thoughtful introductions, she may be able to share her home with another cat. Her history with dogs is unknown, so a careful introduction would be important if she were to live with a dog.

Meadow is one-eyed, but don't let that fool you. Her eye is fully healed and doesn't cause her any discomfort. She does have moderate dental tartar and mild periodontal disease and will need a dental cleaning in the near future. She'll also benefit from keeping her nails trimmed and maintaining a healthy diet, as she's carrying a little extra weight.

Most of all, Meadow is looking for a family who will appreciate her for exactly who she is: affectionate, curious, confident, and wonderfully talkative.

If you're looking for a companion who will follow you around, keep you company, and make sure there's never a quiet moment in the house, **Meadow might be your girl.**

**Meadow is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.**
