McChicken's Story
McChicken is a 2-year-old short-haired grey beauty with striking green eyes and a personality that keeps you on your toes in the best way. She came to the rescue after her family lost their home, leaving her and 11 other cats suddenly searching for safety and second chances. Despite everything she's been through, McChicken has held tight to her spark. She's equal parts sass and sweetness—the true “Sour Patch Kid” of the cat world—learning to trust, play, and enjoy affection more every day.

Likes:

Wand toys (she's recently discovered the thrill of the chase and is all in)
Pets and attention—on her terms, and becoming more frequent!
The company of other young cats (with proper introductions)
A calm, predictable environment where she can feel secure
The possibility of being adopted with a feline friend (fee waived for pairs!)

Dislikes / Needs:

Can be selective with other cats, so slow, thoughtful introductions are a must
Not suited for a home with young children; she prefers a cat-savvy, kid-free environment
Needs time and patience to adjust and build trust in a new home
Appreciates having her space when she asks for it

McChicken is a resilient little survivor with a big personality and an even bigger heart waiting to fully bloom. For the right home willing to give her patience and understanding, she'll reward you with her quirky charm, growing affection, and a companionship that feels truly earned.

McChicken's family includes Cersei, Sir Didymas, Cali who are all up for adoption as well.

Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption).

All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion.

Location: Bolton, CT
Adoption Fee: $250
