Maze's Story

Hi, I’m Maze. I’m a 5 year old sweetheart who can be a little shy at first, but once I feel safe, I absolutely melt for gentle face pets. I’ve lived with kiddos before, but because I’m such a sensitive boy, I may thrive best in a calm adult-only home where I can really relax and come out of my shell. Underneath my timid side is a very loving cat just waiting for the right person to understand me. Please come meet me to see if we’re a purr-fect match at APF between 12-4:15, Tuesday-Saturday!!!

Animal Protective Foundation's Adoption Policy

Our dedicated staff and volunteers will help you find the perfect match. Browse the animals online first, or just stop in during our shelter hours. Your first step to adopting a pet is to complete an adoption questionnaire available at the shelter. A FEW THINGS TO KNOW: You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt without a parent or guardian. Bring a form of identification with current address, such as a driver’s license. If renting property or living with a parent, you will be asked to provide proof that pets are allowed. We will contact the homeowner for verification. Once a staff member has reviewed your adopter questionnaire, you can spend some time with the animals. Pets are an important part of the family, so if at all possible, all family members should be part of the process.
