Meet Mayor! Mayor is a 4 year old neutered male. This handsome boy is right in the sweet spot of cat life- past the wild kitten stage but still playful. curious, and full of personality. He loves exploring his surroundings, batting at toys and then settling down for a cozy nap nearby once he's finished his adventures. He is a friendly guy who enjoys attention and being around his people. Whether he's keeping you company while you relax on the couch or greeting you when you come home, he's happiest when he's part of the action. His classic tabby stripes and bright eyes make him just as charming on the outside as he is on the inside. Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
