Maya and Miguel's Story

Thankfully, they were rescued and brought into foster care, where they were able to grow up safe, healthy, and well cared for. Like many kittens who start life outdoors, they needed a little time to learn that humans could be trusted—but it didn’t take long for them to discover that people are wonderful sources of food, scritches, and love.

Maya is a striking little tuxedo girl with the most adorable black spot on her nose. She’s confident, social, and truly enjoys human companionship. Maya loves to cuddle and is often happiest when she’s close to her people. Her brother Miguel is just as handsome in his gray-and-white tuxedo coat. He’s the smallest of the litter and a bit more reserved than Maya, but he is incredibly sweet. Miguel especially enjoys quiet moments and looks forward to his morning pets and gentle scritches.

Together, these two are the perfect balance. They spend their days chasing each other, inventing new kitten games, and keeping their foster home entertained—so much so that getting a still photo of them together can be a challenge! When playtime winds down, they can usually be found curled up together for a cozy nap.

Maya and Miguel share a strong bond and are ready to find a forever home where they can stay together, continue growing in confidence, and fill their new family’s life with love, playfulness, and plenty of snuggles.

Maya and Miguel were born around born around 9/21/26. They have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated. They are litter box trained.

The adoption fee for two cats is $230.

We recommend adopting two kittens if you have no other pets (or even if you do), because you will get twice the love with less work and they will develop fewer behavioral issues, while costs remain relatively similar.

We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.

When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?

All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.

For additional information on our group and what we do, please check out our website: www.pawsitivity.info
