May's Story
May is a gentle, affectionate, and shy floof who was rescued from outdoors along with her two kittens — both of whom have since found their forever homes. Like so many devoted mama cats, May is still waiting patiently for hers.

She loves quiet company and cozy spaces, and she’s the perfect work-from-home companion. May enjoys sitting nearby while you work or watch TV and will gently remind you when it’s time for food, cheek rubs, or a clean litter box. If you wander off for a coffee, she’ll politely tell you to get back to it.

May shows her love through ankle head butts, wholehearted biscuits, and by wrapping her beautiful, fluffy tail around your legs. She’s perfectly behaved — no counter surfing or knocking things over — though she’ll appear on your lap in a flash if there’s sausage, cheese, or tomato sauce involved.

Because of her past, May takes a little time to feel comfortable being picked up — after all, most of the times she’s been picked up, it was to go to the vet! Once she trusts you, though, her affection truly shines. She has perfect litter habits, prefers wet food, and needs grooming care like a long-haired cat, as well as a bit of extra attention for her teeth and heart.

May was diagnosed with a grade 2 heart murmur, but she’ll be rechecked at her next vet visit to determine if or how it might affect her in the long term. For now, she’s doing wonderfully and continues to thrive in her foster home.

May is spayed, vaccinated (two FVRCP and one rabies vaccine), dewormed, and microchipped. The vet estimates her to be about one year old, though she looks like she could be closer to one to three years old.

May is the perfect match for someone who values peace, gentle affection, and quiet companionship — and who’s ready to give this loving mama the forever home she’s been waiting for.

To set up an appointment to meet Miss May, please email tnr.lapeche@gmail.com

---

Voici May
