Maximus's Story
Introducing the gentle giant MAXIMUS! This brave, beautiful boy has a classic brown-and-black-striped, tabby patterned coat. MAXIMUS has light green eyes that draw you in and command attention. His rose-colored nose is delicately outlined in black. Our vet staff estimates MAXIMUS to be approximately between four to five years old.

MAXIMUS was brought to our cat center by a concerned Good Samaritan who believed that MAXIMUS (as well as another cat who was also brought to PWCCC at the same time) was potentially abandoned or dumped by someone in the neighborhood. Although, this person did not know this for sure, what they did know was that MAXIMUS did not belong outside nor would be able to survive outside by himself. So, the kind, caring person did what they thought was best and took him temporarily until they could secure a spot with a rescue/shelter. It was evident this fellow was used to and fond of people and human interaction. However, MAXIMUS'S guard was up the first week or so. He was a little shy, hesitant and unsure. As time went on, MAXIMUS grew more comfortable and is easing into all the attention and affection he receives from the volunteers here at our cat center on a daily basis. MAXIMUS can be vocal at times, and a little reassurance is all this big fellow needs. MAXIMUS is ready to spend the rest of his life knowing what safety, security and stability look like, and he would make a great feline companion to the right person or family who is ready to open their hearts and home to him.

Neutered, Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested negative, Flea prevention applied and Microchipped.

If you'd like to meet MAXIMUS, or any of our adoptable cats or kittens, please fill out an Adoption Form found in the link: https://pawswatch.org/adoptions/
