Max's Story

Hi, I'm Max!

Sweetness is the 1st thing you can see when you glance at me.

I am a little shy at 1st but when I open up I am a sweetie that will win your heart over. Once I get close head but and rub my head on you and the other cats for attention. I absolutely love human pets. When you Psst Psst, TTT with your tongue or at the crack of a cat food can I come. I also love when humans on are on my level to interact with me. I am working on liking being held.

I am a beautifully handsome Brown tabby kitty. My best feature to stand out are my eyes. They are light pale green and mesmerizing to look at, really resembling the traditional cat eye look. I am looking for a home with another cat, I love them and socially thrive with another feline companion in the home.

I have been fostered with and can co exist with friendly dogs that do not bother me. I have been fostered in a home with children. It takes me a little to warm up to them but when I do I like to sleep near them.

Story:
I was in a colony of 14+ cats in McKeesport. The folks had trapped everyone else but the kitty I hung out with and I (more than likely my sibling). They reached out to NPLB to assist with helping fix and find homes for these sweet friendly boys who did not deserve to be outside anymore. We were bonded and would do everything together at our colony and at the rescue. We would leave and come back to eat. We were rarely ever seen without each other. My sibling had a very bad wound upon intake and he was separated for treatment. His medical foster fell in love but was not really looking for a cat so they decided to adopt only him. The good Samaritans feeding and reaching out for assistance TNRing the colony named him and we wanted to honor them helping the animals by keeping the name.

Step 1: APPLY
Cat/ Kitten Application:
https://forms.gle/YoEfKrmYSHCq29sB6

Step 2:
Schedule a greet:
Once the application is filled out contact us.
724-393-0348 or NPLBrescue@gmail.com with your name, phone number, email and zip code to schedule a meet and greet or answer further questions.
