Siberian cats are known for their beautiful, thick coats, intelligence, and playful personalities. He came to us very under socialized and is still learning to trust people. He can become overstimulated quickly, so he needs someone who understands his boundaries, respects his space, and is willing to work with him at his own pace. He would do best in a home with no other cats, where he can have a calm environment and plenty of time to build confidence. With patience, understanding, and consistency, he has the opportunity to continue coming out of his shell and develop a trusting bond with his future family.

Our goal is to find a good match for both the animal and the adopter. In order to help you find the most appropriate pet for your household, we ask you to complete a short survey about your home and lifestyle. We also request that as many members of your family meet the animal as possible. It's important that your new animal is compatible with all the people and animals in your house and we do our best to determine the adoptable animal's ability to adjust to your lifestyle. We evaluate each adoption on a case-by-case basis and may ask prospective adopters to visit us several times to meet with the dog or cat prior to completing the adoption.  Please visit our shelter to find out more about adopting one of our homeless cats or dogs.
